Heritage Grove Sabina DOP

The Heritage Grove line is Battisti's premium range of the Sabina DOP certified extra virgin olive oil (Protected Denomination of Origin), which complies with the strictest standards of the Sabina Consortium (Lazio, Italy).
The olives used to produce this masterpiece come from a 15th-century grove, which is arguably one of the oldest olive groves in the world currently used for olive oil production.
By growing olive trees that were there before Cristoforo Colombo even discovered America, Michelangelo carved ‘the Piety’ and Botticelli drew ‘the Birth of Venus’, we bottled up a journey that started in the Italian Renaissance to just end up on your table, offering you an unprecedented tasting experience to remember and share.

COMPOSITION

The Heritage Grove Sabina DOP blend includes the most precious olive varieties from the Sabine Hills region: Carboncella, Leccino, Frantoio and a unique ancient ancestor of the Rosciola cultivar.

TASTING NOTES

Complex and sophisticated taste, with a remarkable fruitiness and a wide spectrum of herbaceous notes in total balance with hints of artichoke, thistle and almond. Amazingly balanced in the perception of sweet, bitter and pungent.
